Paul O’Sullivan, President RAR Association NSW Branch, has advised the following:
“Due to the renovation of Regimental Square that is currently being undertaken by the City of Sydney Council, there will be no service at the RAR Memorial this year. The 8.30 AM service will resume from Anzac Day 2017.
In addition, while the route of the Anzac Day March in Sydney has been moved to Elizabeth Street because of the Light Rail works in George Street, the forming up place for the RAR Battalion Associations remains unchanged in Bligh Street with the head of the column at the corner of Hunter and Bligh Streets.”
