Duty First – A letter from Ted Chitham

Hi All,

If you think it’s unfair that over 600,000 Australians who are serving or have previously served in our military forces to defend and protect Australia are seeing their retirement benefits eroded and their standard of living being continually reduced and you want the government to fix the indexation arrangements of Military Superannuation Pensions then I ask you to register in Senator Fielding’s petition at
http://www.stevefielding.com.au/a_fairer_go_for_our_veterans_petition/

For all about the military superannuation pension issue visit http://www.rar.org.au/Advocacy.html

I urge all military superannuation pension recipients (ex-service persons and their widows) and all who currently contribute to military superannuation schemes to act with their families and friends. If any of your family and friends do not have an email address, then please allow them to register with your email address.

Even though this matter may not directly effect you we ask you to show your support to our military and their families.

Senator Fielding’s petition gives us all an opportunity to show our Government , the Parliament, all political parties and all Australians the strength of our concern and the need to correct it. Please act now.
Duty First.
