The National President of the RAR Association, Major General ‘Hori’ Howard has offered his deepest sympathies to the families of Privates Tim Aplin, Ben Chuck and Scott Palmer of the 2nd Commando Regiment who were killed in action in Afghanistan on Monday 21st June 2010.
The three commandos of the Special Operations Task Group were killed in a helicopter incident while embarking on an operational mission. Seven of their team mates were wounded in the incident.
