In conjunction with Veterans Health Week 2016, VOTSA is hosting a community sleepout at Jezzine Barracks Townsville. Veterans Health Week is an initiative of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs(DVA) with this years theme being ‘Social Connection’.

The sleep out is designed to support the theme ‘Social Connection’ and to raise awareness about veterans homelessness. As part of VOTSA’s ongoing commitment to assist in the relief of veteran homelessness, proceeds from the event will go to the Vietnam Veterans Association Australia Townsville Sub-Branch to assist with ZAC’s Place facilities
